There are now two sets of assessment criteria as we move from INGOT 1.0 and INGOT 2.0.

INGOT 1.0 is the original INGOT programme and INGOT 2.0 is the new programme which brings together the National Occupational Standards for vocational ICT and the statutory requirements for the National Curriculum.

The INGOT 2.0 criteria have a lot in common with the INGOT 1.0 criteria. For Bronze, INGOT 2.0 is mainly the old criteria with some additions. For Silver and Gold the new INGOTs place much more emphasis on practical use of web based technologies building on the skills of the units for e-portfolios and blogging in INGOTs 1.0. In INGOTs 2.0 all the assessment is centre devised although we provide optional support from the community site. The main role of TLM is in ensuring that the centre has appropriate assessment methods and can provide evidence that the learner meets the criteria.
