Why should I log out?

When you are logged in to TheIngots.org you have complete access to edit all of your work, personal information, and personal files.  If you walk away from a computer without logging out, then anybody who can get to that computer will be able to alter all of your work.

How do I log out?

To log out, simply click the logout button on the right hand side of the website. You will find a box titled with your username, at the bottom of that box you will see "Logout":

Despite our best intentions we all forget sometimes to logout from a webpage when we leave the computer. To try to protect your work if you do forget, TheIngots.org will automatically log you out 1 hour after you last loaded a page.

You can see how long you have left until you are logged out automatically by looking at the "Auto Logout in" box on the right hand side:

Troubleshooting

1. I cannot see the Auto Logout box
   • Are you logged in? The Auto Logout box replaces the Community Login box when you have successfully logged in to the Community site
