If you do an e-portfolio the first page will have a url something like http://www.theingots.org/community/node/344.

Now this is quite difficult to find, but if you have John Smith e-portfolio in the title you can search for it using the search box at the top left of the main Drupal page.

Also, there is a field in your user profile called e-portfolio URL. If you put the URL of your first page here you will always be able to find it easily.

I noticed some people are still making links using the curly inverted commas produced by a word processor. If you use the href tag eg a <a
href=”http://theingots.org”> you must type in the "" characters directly into the page from your keyboard or use a text editor. Cutting and pasting from a word processor will probably put in the wrong characters for inverted commas. They look similar but they are not the same and so you will find the link goes off to unpredictable pages. This is a good example of where using Word is the wrong tool for the job :-) Safest to edit directly in the page or use a text editor.

Pass the word around because this is one of those difficult to find things that can cause people to waste quite a lot of time but it's very simple to fix when you know how!
