Firefox 3Many of you will be using the Internet Explorer web browser because it came with your computer or is the only browser available on the school network. Why not try Firefox 3? It's open source and new! You can download and install it for free. Think about using it as the subject for your Silver INGOT case study if you haven't yet done Silver. Some older students have already contributed to the Firefox community project. This is what you are beginning to learn how to do if you are doing the Gold INGOT project. Here is the next competition. You need to make a page on the community site and find 5 features in Firefox 3 and 5 features of Internet Explorer you think are important to give one an advantage over the other to the user. Make a bullet point list of these features and say in no more than 30 words which web browser you would recommend and why. E-mail me the URL (web address) of your page so I can find it and know who is competing. We'll keep the competition open until the end of term. Hint: Use the internet to search for reviews on web browsers or for things like Firefox Vs IE. Check the versions the review is about. Good luck! Same prizes again available.
