National Occupational Standards
In my work I have managed to fulfill the following:
-Level 1 (e-mail) as I had to send to the owners of the pictures I am using.
-Level 2 (artwork and imaging software)as I have used pictures on my site that I have drawn with 2D design.
-Level 2 (Internates and intranets) as I have got information and pictures off of the internet and used the school intranet to save and send them.
-Level 2 (Evaluate the impact of IT) I am able to do this because I have researched the rights af people using It and copyrights and copyleft laws.
-Level 2 (IT maintenance for users) as I Have updated my firewall and virus protection software, I have AVG.I have also defragmented my computer to make it faster.
-Level 3 (IT security for users) as I frequently update and upgrade my software as well as installing other programmaes such as firewalls to increase the safety.
-Level 2 (IT trouble-shooting for users) as I have had to ask for help from my teacher and the HELP toolbar on the EDEXCEL software. I now Know what to do in the future.
-Level 2 (Operate a computer) as I can use selective functions and opperations to complete tasks for specific things. eg spreadsheets:random number function.
-Level 3 (presentation software) as I started my ingots as a Powerpoint that was interactive and communitive.
-Level 3 (spreadsheet software) I can carry out tasks that involve different functions such as averages and random number. I can also use goal seek to interpret and wittle down a database.
-Level 3 (website software) as I Have multiple links on my website and I have used colour schemes and text to communicate clearly.
-Level 3 (word processing software) as I have used Microsoft word to create templates to send in e-mails to the picture owners of the pictures on my website. I also used it to type up the work for this blog and my website to make sure that all of the words were spelt correctly.
