Level 2 (Gold) Project CriteriaCandidate number must appear in the blog header with project title. Candidate name is optional, blog can be under a pseudonym if preferred. The first blog entry should describe the proposed work, and how it will relate to some of the National Occupational Standards at Level 2. The work should be obviously intended to be useful to other people. If the work involves producing digital resources, these should be made freely available to others through the following actions:
If you have a great idea you think you can patent or develop with commercial licensing, save it for later and use something else for your INGOT community project. If at all possible avoid producing resources that force people to buy software in order to make use of them or are tied to proprietary formats. The best resources for community use are those that conform to fully open standards and enable free use without having to spend more money than is absolutely necessary.
