    Unit 1, Cutting and Construction Safety (2 credits)

    1. Work safely in a manufacturing environment.
    1.1 I can adopt safe work practices in line with local guidelines. [3]
    1.2 I can identify potential hazards associated with my work. [4]
    1.3 I can identify emergencies and respond accordingly. [5]
    1.4 I can protect the work and its surrounding area from damage. [6]
    1.5 I can dispose of waste in accordance with legislation. [7]
    1.6 I can use tools and materials safely. [8]
    1.7 I can use personal protective equipment (PPE) in accordance with guidelines. [9]

    Unit 2, Cutting and Construction Tools (2 credits)

    1. Use tools and materials for construction
    1.1 I can measure to the required precision [11]
    1.2 I can prepare work for cutting and construction [12]
    1.3 I can cut materials related to my work to the required tolerances [13]
    1.4 I can use the tools relevant to my work to meet needs [14]
    1.5 I can use construction techniques relevant to the work [15]

    Unit 3, Manage Resources for Manufacture (2 credits)

    1. Manage resources associated with cutting and construction.
    1.1 I can select the required quantity of resources [17]
    1.2 I can select the required quality of resources [18]
    1.3 I can use the resources correctly in accordance with guidelines [19]
    1.4 I can work to deadlines [20]
    1.5 I can maintain the tools and equipment used [21]
    1.6 I can correctly use occupational signs and codes [22]
