A computer virus is a software pogramme designed to spread from one computer to another and interupt with the computer programme. It can be spread in many ways: attachments in emails, programmes you can download off the internet...

DOES IT CAUSE?

It can corrupt and delete data and use your email to spread it to other computers. It can even erase EVERYTHING on your hard disk!

HOW CAN WE

PREVENT IT?

1. DON'T open attachments unless you nw what it is and you are expecting it!

2. Update the newest computer safety (some programmes have automatic updating)

3.Use an Internet Firewall
