What is a Virus? A virus is something that infects another thing. In this case, a computer virus. There are so many types of computer viruses, here are some listed:

Trojan Horses will at first seem a harmless software program but once you download it the program with damage all the data on your computer. The person that starts the virus will make it seem like the software is coming from a true provider of programs. Once the program has been opened will give the virus. This virus will not re make they clone themselves. The ILOVEYOU virus comes through an email. It will have an attachment labeled Love-Letter-For-You.txt.vbs if this gets opened it can clog up web browsers and overwrote personal documents. The virus spread through Asia and Europe by the infection scanning the passwords to check your address book and then sends to everyone in your address book- sending on the virus. |

People can stop viruses by using anti virus software. There lots of different anti viruses to use. The most common anti virus software is NORTON 360. some others are microsoft security or McAffee. The downsides to anti virus are that they slow down your computer due to updates that have to be done. |
