General description
Research and re-purpose existing free and open learning resources to support learning that leads to accredited certification. Modify the NWLG resources to fit units compatible with the EQF. Co-operate with WP 5 team to manage translation into 5 languages.
Methods and pedagogy
Implement PRINCE 2 management principles as for the management of the project overall. Operate over 4 six month phases and report outcomes to the Project Board at the end of each phase. QA in WP8 and WP1 to check procedures and outcomes to ensure only high quality learning resources are included in the final product for translation with independent expert external verification from Germany.
Budget comments
All partners have some management time and research time allocated to support WP7. This should be used firstly to support any aspects that are deemed necessary by the WP leader eg in reviewing work in terms of local cultural needs but might also include researching suitable resources from their own countries provision that could be re-used as support for the on-line courses. ALL RESOURCES MUST BE LICENSED FOR FREE USE. In addition Romania has some additional time because the translation and quality assurance WPs are closely related to this one in a way that is likely to be more complex than with other aspects.
