General description
Translate: Assessment criteria, on-line assessor course, tests, certification site labels, community and on-line courses sites, handbooks, e-learning resources and publicity. All into Romanian, Bulgarian, Czech, Spanish. Quality assurance and technical accuracy are particularly important.
Methods and pedagogy
Divided into 4 six month phases with an evaluation report to the Project Board at the end of each. Timing of translations are scheduled to fit with production of materials in other work packages. WP1 will coordinate and check timings with contingencies in case of disruption from a missed production target.
Budget comments
All partners except the UK have days to support translation. As a minimum, translations provided by the lead partner should be checked by at least one native speaker in the target language independent of the original translation. Bulgarian partner will provide additional support to the lead partner and has additional days for this purpose. There is no travel planned for translation as it is assumed that all materials can be shared and transferred between partners by electronic means. Spain has some additional days assuming promotional materials will incur additional work.
